“The strange feeling of being between departure and return. In an airport terminal, thinking back on a summer spent in Europe, the landscapes running through my head, the people left behind, and that sense of displacement you can sometimes feel when you live overseas.”
Sublime Terminal is a series of paintings inspired by memories of places, people and moments from my travels in Europe.
Mostly small to medium-sized abstract landscapes. Some paintings begin with an image, while others simply take shape from the memory of a place, a person or an emotion.
Every Wednesday for the next 10 weeks, I'll be releasing a new painting at 7 pm Sydney time (AEDT).
